Method: Used Cultivated Invitro Epidermal Allograft on patients with fácil burns, using it for 5 days.

All patients were covered on the first 5 days with Cultivated Invitro Epidermal Allograft (EPIFAST), and take it out on the fifth day after.

The culture procedure involves taking a biopsy of healthy skin from about 1 square centimeter, which is carried by a process which separates the epidermis from the dermis with the aim of obtaining keratinocytes and fibroblasts to grow them. It reduces repair time, complications, number of surgeries, the costs of care and hospital stay time, situations that result in more cost – effective for both the hospital and the patient, thus contributing to better cosmetic results, less time for functional and psychological outcomes of patients who suffered burns on face.

 

Cultured keratinocyte allografts have been shown in controlled clinical studies, that early implementation of coverage as handling the reepitlization increase in burns over 40% compared with conventional treatments also can refrigerate without losing its properties.

 

Conclusión: Cultivated Invitro Epidermal Allograft accelerate epithelialization of superficial and Deep secod degree and source áreas, Meshed skin grafts, also stimulates tissue granulating and if applied to a Surface área can accelerate the healing process.

It produces the growth factors that stimulate the proliferation:

a. VEGF. Stimulates angiogénesis.

b. FGF. Promotes cell proliferation.

c. EGF. Accelerates epithelialization.

d. TGF – a. Stimulates angiogenesis

e. TGF – vya. Stimulates the migration and proliferation of kerati nocytes, with the consequent reléase of collagen.
